SHOPS 1st TRY 2025 reached new heights with 87 exhibiting brands and 246 participating shops from 39 countries. A new participation record of 1,284 people resulted in over 3,300 daily visitors (+10.3% compared to the previous year). The brands recorded over 10,000 demo rentals. In short, Hochfügen, as the new venue, provided the perfect conditions for the world's largest B2B event in the snowboard industry.

The date has been set for a while now – but have you already locked it into your calendar? Just to be sure, here it is again, along with a few important deadlines: The next SHOPS 1st TRY will take place from January 18 to 20, 2026, in Hochfügen, Zillertal. The booking deadline for exhibiting brands is September 19, 2025, and shop registration opens on November 7, 2025. Our tip for all shops: Register within the first three weeks to grab the Early Bird Package – including 2×2-day lift passes and drink vouchers for two crew members. Valid for all sign-ups completed by November 28, 2025. Good times ahead with riding, testing, talking shop, and high fives – you definitely don’t want to miss the most laid-back business meeting of the year. See you in Hochfügen!

The SHOPS 1ST TRY 2025 is shaping up to be the biggest yet, with 86 brands showcasing their latest innovations for the 2025/26 season. Alongside familiar names, we’re thrilled to welcome a lineup of fresh exhibitors, bringing exciting products and perspectives to the event. This year’s newcomers include Snowboard manufacturer Canary Cartel, Signal, and Technine. A new type of binding from Bone Binding and bottles from Swoam Bottles, as well as re-engineered protection gear from ruroc and cosy gloves by Deathgrip complete the variety of products Soon these brands will upload their products, make sure sign up to SHOPS 1st BASE to check them out in advance!

Without transformation, nothing evolves! SHOPS 1st TRY 2025 is getting an exciting update with a move to a new location. The new "Place to Be" is Hochfügen in the Zillertal. Hochfügen, a renowned snowboard and ski area, is famous worldwide for its reliable snow conditions and especially popular among freeriders. The town of Fügen, together with the Hochfügen area, opens up unprecedented opportunities to develop Europe’s largest B2B snowboarding gathering and on-snow test event to the next level. Mark your calendars: the dates remain January 19th - 21st, 2025. The final concept for the brands will be unveiled at the end of July, and invitations to the shops will be sent out by the end of October!

The biggest snowboard-business get together anywhere on the planet. - We're not the ones claiming that, it's what Europe's largest Boardsport B2B medium, the Boardsport SOURCE Magazine, says about the SHOPS 1st TRY. We let the facts speak: At the 13th SHOPS 1st TRY, there were 1177 participants from 30 countries. 5206 products from 85 brands were available for testing and the digital Event Controlling System CANDY recorded 8390 test operations during the three-day event. Last but not least, the dimensions of the outdoor area measuring 2400 square meters and the indoor area measuring 1548 square meters have as well outperformed all "Pre-Corona" figures. The SFT is back, bigger, better and stronger than ever before, now known as "Clearly the biggest snowboard-business get together anywhere on the planet.

In total, 83 brands are now presenting their products for the upcoming year at SHOPS 1st TRY 2024. Alongside eyewear manufacturers such as 100%, Spektrum, and Chpo, the clothing brand Beyond Medals, the renowned EgoCam manufacturer GoPro, the accessory brand HAE (formerly Hä?), and the sunscreen brand Sun Bum are also showcasing their collections. If you haven't already created an account on the BASE for your shop, it's time to do so. What an incredible event! Over the three days of testing, a total of 6555 test activities were recorded in the enlarged demo area of SHOPS 1ST TRY. 248 shops from 23 countries were represented, and if you count shop employees, industry staff, media and event staff there were 1075 people in total who visited SHOPS 1ST TRY 2023. With almost ideal snow conditions (there was 40cm of fresh snow on the mountain at the last minute) and slopes in perfect shape, there was an exuberant mood among all participants. After an enforced break of two years, the world's biggest snowboarding b2b event could finally take place again, and the stoke of everyone getting back together among all participants was off the charts. This energy is what makes the event so special and gives us the strength to try to make SHOPS 1ST TRY even better every year! Thanks to a new co-operation with the Austrian doormat manufacturer, Kleen-Tex, SHOPS 1ST TRY is reducing even more waste. In the future, Kleen-Tex doormats will add flair to the Highlight Exhibition Dinner in the Congress Centre. In comparison to the single-use trade show carpets used in the past, which had to be thrown away after the event, the new Kleen-Tex doormats will be reused every year. Thanks to green catering, reusable exhibition stands, functioning waste separation system and its own "cup washing system" for drink cups in the outdoor area, SHOPS 1ST TRY already meets the guidelines for the Austrian "Green Meeting" certificate. The cooperation with Kleen-Tex makes the event one of the most environmentally friendly trade fairs in the sporting goods industry.
